Are body building supplements good for the Body ?

I used to workout in the gym couple of years back. I've seen a lot of guys take body building supplements like creatin ,whey protein and mega mass. I have never tried them for the fear that it may have a negative impact on your body. Now i'm planning to hit the gym again. Can anyone tell me whether these supplements are good for the body ? Can they be taken without any side-effects ? If yes then what supplments shall I take ?

As long as you know your body and your overall health, supplements should be good for your body. Supplements only becomes bad once you abuse its use and not follow its recommended dosage.

It is said that all supplements must be used in the smartest way. I highly recommend you to use product like creatine. It works very well. But together with taking supplement, you must train hard, have a good diet which is full with protein and calories, and have a good relax.
