Carl Edwards Wins At Michigan

I haven't heard of any other Nascar team member doing this. I've heard of it in other sports. That takes some courage to make a commitment like that. I suppose one could always make some excuse and back out, like "I became allergic to my own hair" or "My wife said she would leave me if I didn't shave." I personally wouldn't make that kind of commitment.

I know that Tony Stewart doesn't shave before a race ,not sure if it's some kind of superstition or not? I also know that Kyle Petty hasn't cut his hair for years because of an accident that he was involved in many years ago .It has been so long now that i have forgotten the exact statement by Kyle but I think it won't get cut until he wins another race.

i have never heard of this kind of thing before. But, I think it is cool that Carl finally won a race, and that the spotter can now shave his face what a blessing. I am disappointed that my driver had a bad day yesterday, but am glad to see that one of his teammates won the race.
