Maybe you should help your mom at home doing the household chores. she just wanted you do something different at home since you stayed at school most of the time. How about cook something for dinner for all of you, then tell your mom that I can use now the computer I have to some reseach. Talk with her, or maybe ask her if she needs anything and that would make her happy.

That really depends. I'm on your mom's side if you don't have a job and you're just hanging out playing video games and such during the week. It never hurts to hold a job down whether you need the money or not. It adds experience, knowledge, and responsibility to your character. Besides, you meet a whole lot of new people. If you do have a job and you're going to college, you have every right to do whatever you want in your spare time and, in this case, hanging out with friends is certainly not a waste of time. Being with friends adds memories that you will someday look back and enjoy telling stories about those times. As far as video games go, I believe there's no harm in them as long as you don't spend hours upon hours playing them because there's a world out there waiting for you to interact with.

Time is the most valuable thing and once it is gone, you can't get it back. You are young and it is important to enjoy yourself, but the key is finding balance. I spend a lot of time on my computer and I spend a lot of time with friends also. But I make that time count also. I play games online, but they are learning games. When I hang out with friends we talk about things that are important. I always want to be doing something to help me better myself as a person.
