I have not been able to come anyway near to it. My maximum responses counts 28.
So what is the maximum no of responses that ypou ever got.
Also, I have seen soe discussions whic have ober one thousand reponses. I wonder howcome they managed so many responses!
If u know any discusion with over 1000 reposnes, pls post its link here, it would be good to make a collection of all 1000 + responses!
Thanks.

I've come close. I had over 80 responses to a discussion before. I think a lot of it depends on your reputation here and the number of friends you have. The more well known and respected you are, the more responses you will get. Also topics that can be answered by a lot of people will get more attention than ones with very specific situations or issues. Starting the discussion under the proper interest makes a big difference too. For example you will get more responses to a parenting discussion if it is posted under the "parenting" interest rather than under "people".

My maximum responses to my discussions is 12. I always hoping to have a higher number but I can't think of a topic which is not existing here for general patronage but it seems everything is already here. I just respond on this topics if I chance on it. Lucky they are who got more that a hundred responses.

It's really great to receive 100 responses. I have still now have max 36 responses. It is very difficult to predict how many response you can get from any discussion. I often happens I get more response from discussions which I expected to get a few.

Hello there
Yes, I have had two discussions which have gone over the 100 responses. I don't know if anyone has had a thousand but it would frazzle me trying to read and respond to those who should be responded to, phew, doesn't bear thinking about.
I have noticed that trivial discussions generally get a lot more responses, probably because for many people, myself included, Mylot is the "chill room" to take time out from a rough and busy day and sometimes you just want to be frivolous.
I have started some quite serious discussions and received only about four answers, but that doesn't stop me, and it shouldn't stop you.
Just post what you think are good discussions and see what happens.
Little tip: if you are really busy and don't really have time for Mylot for a couple of days, THAT is the time when the big discussion will happen - it was that way for me both times lol.
Good luck and keep us posted if you hit the 100!

No, I haven't gotten 100 responses but I have gotten around or almost 50 and I actually was excited I had gotten that many. LOL I would be soooo excited it I got 100 or 1000!!! I would like to know how they could possibly get 1000 responses too. If they can come up with a discussion that is so eye catching and getting that many responsses, then they are making GOOD money on myLot. I am very interested in how they do this. Thanks for starting this discussion.

WOW! more than 100 responses! no never! that is my dream ! usually discussions which are answerable to people of all ages and casual discussions take up more responses than any other ones. I tend to open up serious discussions , so may be i dont receive high responses. I think that we should open discussions which attracts people of all ages and which are pleasurable to answer. Thats the trick i think.
Hope you get a 100 responses to this discussion!

no, i have never got anywhere near it. Lol i once did a joke post to test out the theory that only the simple questions get a lot of answers. Iasked what type of tooth paste do you use. lol i got 73 responses, my highest yet. With this in mind, im rather proud I have never had 100 responses I think it means my discussions must generally be of quality
blessed be

i think the most responses i have for one topic is 18, pretty small, i know. i'm trying to be as active here as possible but i don't think that's an easy thing to do with school and all ;0 but the longer our posts are around the more people will get the chance to reply, so we can expect the numbers to go higher ( i hope!)
