my country going to celebrate the 50 national day soon on 31 august.
as a citizen of my country, i have learned that.. to love my country, to love my nation and my people..

Mauritius attained independence in 1968 so my country has just celebrated its 39th independence day on th 12th of march ;my country's flag colour is red, blue, yellow, green... the red signify the blood, blue signify the sky, yellow is the sun and green is the sugar cane!
My national Anthem is:
Glory to thee, Motherland,
O motherland of mine.
Sweety Thee beauty Sweety thee fragrance.
Around thee we gather
As one people, As one nation
In peace justice and liberty.
Beloved country may god bless thee
Forever and ever

Our National Independence Day is June12. It is more than a century of years now. I learn that our country is not a free country untill now.
