MR. Holland's Opus

This is an old film. But every time I appreciate it, I am touched. I love the feeling among holland and all his students. Life could be a success or failure but most of it was viewed by yourself. Fame and rich are not the only things in life.

I also really enjoyed this movie it is really touching the way he makes the concert using music and lights. His life I believe was a success because of the way he was.

Yes, agree! Life is short and there must be sorrow in everyone's life. But if someone could keep improving and be warm-hearted, considerate etc. to make some of his dreams come true, that could be called a success.

its been a long time since ive seen that movie! but it is a very good one! i dont remember much, however i remember the last part where his opus is being performed with the lights and his deaf son being able to "hear" his beautiful music. i also remember crying a lot during that scene lol!

yes, me too! It was a life's performance on the stage and it was appreciated by all his students. What a good teacher! And music, music is a great media! It touches people from the bottom of their heart and it could make cole the deaf people "hear"!
