Seldom we can see and witness martyrdom in this planet, especially in this chaotic and busy world! When a lover or a friend had done wrong to me intentionally and I actually noticed it, I confront them right away.Sure I can forgive but not forget...That is where we learned hard earned lessons in life.Because when you say forget, this action word will never be applicable after the damages have been done. The relationship could be repairable but the relationship had been tarnished , and the ever open and friendly you, will always be cautious in case there is backsliding or repetition of intentional deceiving or cheating from your friends or lover. Regarding unintentional mistake that you can forgive and forget, lest proven it happened really by accident only!

Everyone deserves the right to be held accountable. Some wrongs are worthy of dismissal. Others are apologizeable and can be rectified. Depends on the big mistake. Martyr never for me. I rely on the people around me to be as good as they can be and own up to their mistakes. Good luck in your relationships.

I don't think we can call this martyr coz if you forgive someone it is a way of realeasing ones burden in your heart and for me I don't feel better if someone has done mistakes on me as much as possible if they commit mistakes and they admit it and ask for forgiveness I try to forgive them I'm only human and nobody's perfect. But if she done it again I can forgive her but I wish I will not saw her again.
