I hate myself sometimes because some words are missing on my posts/discussions. Do you double check yours before posting?

I am not a native English speaker but I am using mylot to learn English because it make me write a lot, I never double check my post I just write and go to next discussion but I tried at less don't make so many mistakes, I think if you want all perfect it will be impossible make some of money here, but I am not saying that I want to make bad post I always tried to do the best, and sine I am using Mozilla Firefox it is so cool because it spell all my words like a text processor so I am not doing mistakes in that way, about the missing words, yes I always find words missing or sentences with not sense but I am not checking it so often because it take a long time to do, I just hope to continue studying English and reading a lot I think it will improve my writing skill and I will continue doing every day better.

Yeah, right! I am on the process of learning english very well. Yes, I am from Philippines. Everybody here are learning english for some very important reasons. I am using Mozilla too, I have tried the latest version of IE few weeks ago but there is no spell check in there, so, I go back to Mozilla. So, let this great opportunity helps us to learn more through posting and participating the discussions.

my first language is the Spanish, and it is making that to learn the English grammar be really hard, I am trying to get rid of my Spanish and to learn all the English that I can, it is hard because all the people in my country don't speak English, I am trying to learn from native speaker trough Internet and it is working I think it is the choice if you can't travel to a English speaker country, I am hoping to be able to travel and learn a lot, I think the use Mozilla Firefox make more easy to write a comment on mylot because it have a great spell checker, I saw your profile and it say that you are from Philippines, I have some net friends from there and they are really good in English, I think I am lucky because I am using the same alphabet and I think to learn a foregein language with another alphabet would be very hard, I will continue posting and posting and I think I will improve in my witting skills and I will continue studying so hard as I can.

Yes I do! Because sometimes my hands are too fast and they would keep missing some words in between. I don't want to confuse other mylottians and I would double check before I hit the "post response". Besides, I am here for practicing my writing too, it's always good to make sure the words are spelled out correctly. I guess I have already developed this habit when I was in school, I always wanted to make sure everything was right.

Actually I chk for grammar and spelling errors at the same time of typing and after that I don't chk for these errors at the time of posting my response . So I do the two tasks simultaneously typing and chking the errors and then I post my response.

I usually read or check my respond/discussion before posting. But just like you, I'm not that good in English language sometimes I can't find the right words to express what I wanted to say. Though there are spelling check in mylot, grammar is not being corrected, I just hope that the reader could understand what I mean.

I do, I checked through before I hit the post button. If I can't phrase my words or sentences right, I would not post at all or just a very short one.

well, i do this all the time. Hahaha even if i do check i still get it wrong more often than i get it right. I am dyslexic and one of the elements of my condition is a difficulty in recognising my own mistakes, so such checking ias ultimately pointless blessed be

No, because if I make a mistake I usually notice it as I am going along. But sometimes I will post something that either has a spelling error or is missing a word and it will bug me!

Well, I am not an English speaking person... it's not my heart language. I sometimes notice some mistakes too as I am going along, that is why there is no need to read it again but when I came to read it after I posted it... some words are missing... I think I need to double check mine. Thanks for your response.

No, I don't and I know that I should. I think that sometimes I type too fast and make mistakes in capitalizing and in spelling. But, it is just one of those things, if I catch myself while I am typing I fix it, but most times I don't catch myself!

I do not. I just type out whatever I am inspired to type and then I send it. I have tried to proofread a few times but I have found that I do not have the patience for it.

I try to. It would be wonderful if they had a spell checker on here. Most of the time I can figure out what people are trying to say but a few times I have passed up on the post because I couldn't decipher it. I have noticed a couple time I have missed a letter in my tags.

I always check my spelling and grammar, specially because I post in english, wich is a foreing language for me. Sometimes I make a mistake I can't correct, because I do not know to write other way. Sometimes I even check the dictionary for the right spelling.
