I live right outside of Seattle. I'd prefer to live in Seattle but a 10 minute drive is good enough for me. I love Seattle and wouldn't want to live anywhere else in the USA besides here. It's a pretty diverse and laid back city. People are pretty relaxed here and open to new things. The music scene is pretty good too. I couldn't pick a better city to live in in the US. Although if I had the chance to move overseas I'd pick Bangkok or Amsterdam. Seattle is as close to those two cities than I can get.

Seattle is about a 2 1/2 - 3 hour drive to B.C. Canada. So it's not bad but you're plannig on visiting there from here you might want to plan to stay overnight. As for site seeing...there's the space needle. If you're into music there is the EMP (experience music project). Both of those are in Seattle Center. There's the "famous" Pike Place Market, where you can see the fish being thrown. You can go on an underground tour to see what Seattle used to be like way back in the day. It used to be underground...there's an entire city built underneath what is currently Seattle. I can't really think of anything besides that. There are things outside of Seattle like Mt. Saint Helens and the beach, but those are a few hours drive away. If I think of anything else, I'll let you know. :)

For me the best city is Berlin. It is a city of four million people, it is a very fast city, on the go. There are many parcs, museums, old churches and a lot of business. There is good public transportation, nice houses and apartments and best of all, people speak German. I also like the food. The climate is moderate, so I think it is an ideal place to live.

I'm from Indianapolis. Home of the Indianapolis 500. It's an ok city. It is kind of boring at times. My fave city I visited would be Casablanca, Morocco. It reminded me so much of New York City in the 50s. I have also been to Nouakchott, Mauritania. They are pretty laid back and more boring then Indy. I maybe moving there soon.
