What makes you lose your temper?

Little things make me lose my temper. If my instructions are not being followed by my employees, I easily blow my top. If my husband leaves his stuff all around the house and makes a mess, I do get mad. I know I have a short temper and I have been trying to control my temper whenever I can. Do you guys easily blow your top? What ticks you off? Do you have suggestions as to how to control one's temper?

I lose my temper when people make too much fun of me. I can handle a little kidding around but when it reaches a certain point especially when im trying to do something or when im trying to be serious. I lose my temper also when people do not appreciate some of the difficult tasks i completed for them but i lose my temper in a silent way and the feeling easily goes away. What do i do when i start losing my temper? I count from 1 to 10 or i just take a few breaths of fresh air.

I do admire how you handle your temper. Being unappreciated, particularly by the people whom I love most, makes me upset too. Thanks for your thoughts. I will certainly keep your methods in mind whenever I start losing my temper. :)By the way, I love your avatar. It reminds me of my cat. :)

Admittedly, I do have a temper... and I work hard to keep it in line. I get upset if I'm working hard or really busy and I see things not being done around me. I don't like feeling that I have to carry everyone's burdens in addition to my own (pressure I put on myself, of course, but still results in anger at times). I also get upset at people who don't take their responsibilities to heart. If someone agrees to do a task, I have this belief that they should do it to the best of their abilities. In my work, I've often had to follow behind and "clean up" for someone that has dropped the ball and that's just aggravating to me.

I often hold my temper. My PMS often let go of it but am always aware to hold still. LOL. I really have a hard time lossing it because I often think of what caused me to get mad. I would look for psychological or emotional or stress related trigerring my temper. I sometimes think am not normal.
A normal person can get mad when things are not in the right track. But I often get mad only at the back of my mind. I tend to reason in my mind not to get mad because of the reasons I can explain to myself everything's gonna be fine.
Although I have not controlled it maybe like 5 times in my whole life. But at the back of my mind many times. LOL. I don't understand why I can easily get rid of it because I keep assessing myself and the situation.

Hi mestr! You're quite a hot pot huh? You look sweet though! Well i get mad if people are kind of stubborn like my mom. I feel like i'm handling a kid. She's too stubborn and has poor sense of right and wrong. Sometimes she would argue with a driver over fare and i keep telling her it's not worth it. Just the thought of it makes me breathe faster. I don't really get mad easily, only when i'm pushed over the limit.

Thanks. I was a hot pot two years ago. :) LOL. But I learned to mellow down now. I guess it goes with age. hehehe... Anyway, I guess your mom can't help it. She will always see you as her baby. The fact that you do not get mad easily tells me that you are a very level-headed person. Keep it up! :)
