Do U have a day here in Eu like "Thankgiving day" in US/ "Boxer Day"in Canada

Do U have a special day here in Europe or Uk like Thanksgiving day in US or the Boxer day in Canada? I remember we used to get up so early in Thanksgiving day and get in the que in front of every big Store and grab the hot sale item first. Enjoyed the whole day and get alot of things, saving hundreds of dollars... just hoving around the stores and get free item so many .. I dont know here in Eurpe or in UK there is any special day like that with big savings for all marchendise? At the end of the day we used to join the party with Thanksgiving Turkey BBQ . That was a great fun and so tasty!!!

we dont celebrate Thanks giving , but we celebrate Boxing day i think its the same as boxer day i dont know , we always celebrate st georges da and St patricks day and i guess most of the world celebrate St Patricks day good excuse to get drunk lol

I know these days U celebrate but what I want to know is on these days is there any great deal or sale like what we get on Thanksgiving? Do you know what kid of price cut opportunity they give on thanks giving? Thats my interest.
