I once read a poem about a mother who wish she was not a mother. She talked about wishing that she had never became a mother. What is there to say about that? I'm happy that I became a mother because it added more excitement in my life. I couldn't imagine myself not being a mother now that I am. Of course, we all need a little break every now and then, but that's about it.

When I was pregnant with my now two month old daughter, I thought how easy it would probably be just to sneak out of the hospital and just leave her there, but the moment I saw her baby blues I thought how I could never not want this child. Yeah I agree as moms we need a break. But those little toothless smiles in the morning makes it all worth wild.

I do believe that being a mother is indeed the toughest job in the world. I have never regretted having my children, they bring such joy into my life, and have changed my perspective on things at so many levels. It is not always sunshine and roses, and yes some days are better than others! I just feel that all children are a blessing, and my heart goes out to any mother that truly wishes she had never had a child/children. The effects of these feelings on both this mother and her child/children have to be devestating.
