what do you think of spiderman's going emo?

It was kind of funny that spiderman has gone emo in the trilogy. It was kind of unexpected. They styled spiderman's alter ego like a Punk Emo band member. What do you think of this?

O well maybe it's just me and my sister. We really thought Peter Parker's emo style looks like Joel Madden from Good Charlotte :)

I know what you are talking about, and it was just his appearance, but it was stupid. I was not too thrilled or happy with the Spider-Man 3. I thought there were a few things that Marvel could have done without in this film. Peter could still have been dark and angry, without having to appear "Emo". Personally, if I had directed this film, I would have made Peter more of a jerk like he was in the original "Symbiote" series. He was kind of a jerk in this film, but nothing compared to what he was in Amazing Spider-Man when he was under the symbiote's control. As for his appearance, I would have kept the black clothes, but I would not have wear the "Emo" style hair and make-up, that was too much.
