Hip-Hop or Rock?

I prefer both. I prefer good music no matter what genre it's been placed into.

I would give the slight edge to hip-hop over rock. There are certain artists such as Nas, Lil' Wayne, and Wyclef Jean that I really enjoy listening to. But most of the current hip-hop is weak. I am more a fan of old school R&B and blues music.

I'm goin to go with "I like both for $1000". Hip-hop and rock are cut from the same cloth. Emotionally chaged music that's generally against the powers that be. For those that 'despise' either, it usually comes from not understanding the song or not being able to relate to it. Bost hip-hop and rock could use a jolt of new life because both pretty much suck right now overall. I miss you hip-hop.
