Nintendo WII vs PS 3 What would you pick and why?

So which console did you get? I think it actually depends on the gamers' needs. I own a PS3 and my neighbour own a Wii. I actually had some fun playing on his Wii but its seriously not for me. Once a while on a Wii is ok but it doesnt really suit my gaming needs as most Wii games out there are too cutesy to my liking.

I'd look at the game systems and the games themselves to see which is worth more to invest into to be quite honest. If you're into something new and want to experience playing games a whole new way, try the Wii out. What type of games is he into exactly? The PS3 does have realistic graphics but it is pretty expensive out there. That's something I'd wait until the price drops some because I find it too high. Check out there games and see if it's worth it and go from there.
