Hi to all myloters. I have an easy question. Why do the no brainer posts get the most responses? Posts like Coke or Pepsi? What did you last eat? coffee or Tea? Nothing against or the ones posting them, but do people realy care what I eat or drink or is just about getting the most responses?

They get the most responses because they are easy to answer and don't really require any thinking. I hate to say it, but there is a shortage of intelligent people in this world, so the questions that really require a lot of thought to answer probably won't get many responses. ~Kythe42 http://lemurianphoenix.blogspot.com

Well I'd say that they are discussions, but they don't have much depth to them at all.

I think the simple answer to that is just pure laziness. People would rather post one or two word discussions and responses and think they'll make a bunch of money. You'll see those very same people complaining a few days later that their earnings have dropped because Mylot has systematically gone through and deleted them all because they are against the terms of the site

I think it is great mylot does that. Many people try to make actual discusion worthy posts and should be rewarded for that. Thanks for responding.

I agree with posters above who say that these types of quesions draw the most responses because require no thought. Seems a lot of folks want to come and knock out 50 posts quickly...and therefore need 'discussions' thare require little to no thought! Mental laziness.

I think it is because everyone can comment on something like that. More detailed topics are for those that have an interest in that particular discussion. I know it is easier to type yes I like whatever it is as compared to thinking about the topic and then responding. So while they are thinking they may go to an easy answer one then come back to give a detailed response. Just a guess.

I don't respond to those kind of posts. I respond to posts where I can identify with the poster about life, such as motherhood, or life in general. I like that I can talk about my experiences in similar situations that the poster is posting about, and maybe be able to give some good advice or at least, some support.

Way to go. Thats what I thought mylot was about. Good for you. I to like to answer the posts I identify with like parenting, kids and of course pets. Thanks for the response. have a nice day.

I think they get the most responses because they have a lot of friends and those friends are loyal to them for whatever reason.

I need friends like that to boost my responses. I seem to get stuck around 6 or 7 responses.

Trivia rules the world. Most people are not that intelligent , most people like easy tasks. Nobody cares what you drink, you know it, face it. I do not have to have an opinion or prove something if I write down: I like coke. Who wants to read about Albert Einstein?
