The Other Lane is Apparently Always Faster

When I'm in a traffic jam or a slow moving trafic, I always have this feeling that vehicles on the other lane are moving faster. But my good sense tells me that I cannot always be on the wrong or slow lane all the time. Yet I can't help feeling this way. Does this happen to any other person?

i think that happen to me a lot, even with cashier lane in groceries store. Funny thing i was in the waiting room in doctor office, i read one of the magazine ( forget what it is ) and there's a quote said " Other line always faster until you move in that line" LOL!
