wisdom teeth problem

I got my wisdom teeth out friday they gave me this syringe to clean the area out with, and i just used it, and now the area is bleeding.. they told me to bite down on gauze, and i am, but since its bleeding, does that mean im going to get dry socket now? :(

Just stay calm and put some ice on it gently. It'll make the bleeding stop.

it wasnt bleeding until my mom made me get that syringe and spray it off...i think it irritated it.. im scared im going to get dry socket or something now.

If you are at all worried you should get yourself back to the dentist. My first thought when reading this was that infection has probably set in and the blood is trying to wash out the germs but I am not a dentist so am only guessing. Getting your wisdom teeth out is certainly major trauma for the mouth as you no doubt know and if you are feeling any pain then make sure to be taking pain killers.
