I know you think...yea right! But my 9 year old is insisting that his Daddy was holding his hand when he sang the National Anthem at the WV Appalacian Power park game for Fathers Day.
Kurt said, Mommy I'm not scared! Daddy is right here with me...can't you see him?
I couldn't...but I knew that he must be, because my little boy hit every note right on key. With over 3000 people in attendance, he wasn't the least bit afraid. His daddy was there.
Have you ever had an experience like this?

that is incredibly beautiful.
I do believe that those in heaven take an interest in the lives of those yet on earth.
I do not disbelieve that he was there for his son in a spiritual way. Even if "only" in son's imagination. Who are any of us to say one way or the other.
my brother said grandpa visited him. we were at church and he needed to use the restroom. grandpa was in ny state we were in panama canal zone.
brother came out of the restroom and said grandpa was in there (and whatever conversation ensued) my mother received news later that day that her father had passed away. she believed my brother even before the call came.
