What are you favorite ways to stay in shape?

Do you exercise? Do you have favorite ways to stay in shape? I'm a big fan of walking. I live an easy train ride from New York City, so it's very easy to get to Manhattan. Every block always has something interesting and exciting. I could literally just spend the whole day walking and getting lost in the city. I don't even bother with the subway system anymore. It's so much more interesting being outdoors.
The other day, I walked 75 blocks in one day, and it was easy! I ended up exploring different parts of Park Avenue--the financial district, lower midtown, St. Patrrick's Cathedral on Fifth Avenue, and a wonderful whole foods market on Park and 22nd. The grid system and numbered streets make it very easy to get around. I just have to remember to wear sunscreen!
Occasionally I do a little aerobic dancing, sometimes a little swimming, but walking is still the easiest form of exercise.

gym memberships get a little pricy though.
I think I'll start doing more stuff outdoors like yourself

My favourite way to stay in shape is doing crunches. Crunches strengthen the stomach muscles and pushups strengthen the arms. I try to do 50 sit-ups and 20 pushups a day, 5 times a week.

my favourite exercise is swimming.
i usually go for swimming daily in the evening, provided if i am not late in the office.

I love to walk. Our shopping district where we are in Winnipeg is about half a mile away. I decide to go to one particular store and look around and return home. The next day I go to another store, or the mall, etc. If we go shopping, I do something else. I do weights three times a week and when I walk, I run for a while (although my run looks like it is done in slow motion) I walk, and then I run. I could go the other way, but there is not that many stores.

Hi there, My only means of exercising is to kick and punch a boxing bag for 30-45 minutes. Every other day after exercising with my daily routine, I enjoy walking along the beach...
