what should a real fan be? / myLot

Every body may say himself is football fan,or basketball fan,or a fan of some superstar.But why?just because it fits you,or you like it without any excuse?Perhaps he plays well,or perhaps he is handsome.But thinking with our own mind ,does it sound crazy? Always go for a thing without any reasons?or these so reasons are ridicular ?not any meaning of realization? But i have to i think i am a basketball fan, fan for YAO,fan for NBA,fan for KOBE...but when i got back to mind ,i do not know why i am so crazy,is it worthy?

I'm a huge hockey fan. When I started watching hockey, it was out of curiosity. I found the game exciting, fast paced and very high energy. I spent the first off-season after I started watching learning everything I could about hockey. I'm a hockey fan first, and a Colorado Avalanche fan second. My favorite player, Karlis Skrastins, I love because of the way he plays. I love defensemen. I think a team having a solid defensive core is vital to a team that does well. Skrastins epitomizes the position. He's not a defenseman who also tries to score a lot. He's a defenseman, period. Solid, dependable, makes few mistakes and is a great penalty killer. That's why I'm a fan. I don't know what a real fan should be, other than passionate.

Just like you I am an NBA and basketball fan. I don't know how it happened or why, but I like how its fast paced and high scoring. My favorite player is Kobe and my favorite team is the Lakers but I like the league and game overall. There aren't many benefits and maybe its a waste of time, but its a sense of pride and a hobby.
