terrible two's how long do they last?

my son turn 3 in feb.and he act as he still going threw the terrible two's. is there such thing as the terrible two's and if so how long does it last

yes there is terrible two's. my nephew got over at 4. its normal, be patient. my daughter is 18 mos. and really is terrilbe sometimes, i just hug her and tell her you dont have to throw a fit, just tell mommy what you want.

They start to get better, but just wait till he is a pre-teen, they come back with a vengeance. i have a 12year old and she is the moodiest critter alive.

They should call it the terrible 2's,3's and 4's. LOL. Actually it does start to het better with time. They are just testing there limits and eventually give up again till they are teenagers. Although every child is different and needs to be handled differently they are all testing it some more than others. I have found my daughters were worse than my son and now that they are older the tables have turned.
