I missed the show on SciFi but I downloaded it to watch on my computer. Now I'm reading the first book, too. Which would you recommend - read the books then watch the show? Or do both at the same time? Well, not literally the same time, but you know what I mean. Or can I watch the show and it won't ruin the books for me?

I've been reading the books and watching the shows at the same time. I'm disappointed with the fact that the show was cancelled.

I found the show was pretty loosely based off the books. I read the books AGES before the show ever came out but I wouldnt say seeing the show first would ruin the books. It actually might give a bit more understanding of the show.
