Who is Your Hero?

I have historical and personal heroes in my life. These are people and public figures who have somehow influenced me as a person and my beliefs and principles in life. For historical figures, I am a fan of the late Senator Ninoy Aquino, the Filipino opposition leader who openly opposed the Dictator Ferdinand Marcos. He was assassinated in 1983 which spark a national revolution against the tyrrant. I am a fan of the late John Paul II, the Polish pope whose charisma inspired so many. I have always supported his principles on pro-life and pro-people. I am also a fan of Mother Teresa. There is no doubt that she was in her time a living saint. Such selfless giving can only be inspired by a higher divine calling. For personal figures, I am a fan of my parents and my wife.
