Okay, here's the lowdown. First of all, I have LONG OPENED a Moneybookers account. It has already been verified (I received a snail mail from them), I added the SWIFT Code for Landbank and all that. Anyways, I was expecting some money ($260.00) a few days ago and I got a bit agitated that's why I posted an earlier discussion thread with regard to sending money from Moneybookers to Landbank Philippines. NO, the money didn't come from Mylot. It was from another paying site I got involved in. I used E-gold for Mylot payments before and there were no glitches. Anyways, the good news is:
I FINALLY GOT THE MONEY THROUGH MONEYBOOKERS!
Thank goodness. I withdrew the money last Monday night (June 11) and I got the money just this morning (June 19). I asked the bank and they said they process bank transfers from abroad for up to 7 WORKING DAYS. So in case you easily panic (like I did haha) don't.
Also, here are some of my observations. The money will automatically translate to the current exchange rate. So if the money arrived on this particular day and the foreign exchange rate was low, too bad for you.
DON'T EXPECT TOO MUCH FROM THE MONEYBOOKERS SUPPORT SYSTEM. I posted queries TWICE (one at the Complaint section of the Message Centre) and another at the Withdrawal tab. It's been 8 days and no answer at all. Hence, if you're really hoping for a quick reply, you have no choice but to call them.
So there.

hi again asteriskec. my doubts about the moneybookers are more or less answered by your testimony. i hope when that time comes for us to withdraw our payout from mylot it would be easier and faster for our local banks to process the transaction.
by the way, i am still waiting for the links you promised to share with me. good luck.

Hi ryan! Yes, don't worry, I'm actually in the process of putting up a website. I will include all of the links there =) I figured it's about time that I share the information. I've been receiving good money because of those sites and I hope that others will, too. You're on top of my list =)

Hi asteriskec! I would also like to ask for the links of all the sites that you have joined and been paid through moneybookers. I would likely join you if the links that you'll give to me are referrals. Thanks! I'm just a newbie here in mylot.

Just want to ask, what if I open a dollar account, do you think I'll get a better deal? Have you tried depositing money to your moneybookers? I'm planning to send money to my auntie in the US and I think moneybookers is cheaper compared to a wiretransfer (telegraphic transfer) and compared to western Union. How money do you think BDO will charge me to transfer money to money bookers? Can you suggest a bank in the phillipines? Please need you opinion.

Just add your VISA credit card details in your Moneybookers account. There's a section there where you can do so.

hi, . . .when you say you have a landbank account where pay-outs are sent, is it a dollar account? or peso account? i just want to have a clarification though i've read that you say it's converted already to current rate of exchange. . .

My account is a peso account. Moneybookers will send your money in peso form. It does not matter whether your bank account is a dollar account or a peso account. Moneybookers will still send it. The catch is, you'll only receive the money in peso form.

i guess we have to bear with it. there is no other way for us to receive our money from mylot but through moneybookers. i just hope that future transactions will speed up... btw, how much were you charged for the transfer?

Hi gwen! Yeah, I hope so too! Seven working days are too long for me =/ I was charged $2.60. That's a fixed amount, according to Moneybookers.

thank you for sharing information as well as your experience. this is very helpful. i just want to post a query on how much was deducted from your account when the bank transfer was completed.
i have an account in BPI and when i made an intial inquiry, international bank transfers will amount to $10-20. i wonder how much yours amounted to, if i may ask. thanks again. ;)

Hi myles! Moneybookers charges a fixed amount - $2.60. That's regardless of the amount that you want to transfer to your local bank account :)

thanks! one more thing (hope you don't mind), as the recipient bank, did landbank charge you anything for receiving the transfer from moneybookers? :)

Seven working days is very long considering our high tech age now. PGX from egold doesn't take even an hour. Besides, $2.60 is high so if we just earn the $10 minimum payout from mylot, what remains is $7.40. Well that's still better than nothing but considering the difficulty of earning here in mylot, that's not worth but if we consider the joy we have here, then it's okay. I hope we really enjoy posting here.

Hi larskie, yes. Believe me, there are a lot of paying websites out there. It just takes patience and innovativeness to find them :) I still come back here in Mylot though since I've had no trouble receiving my payments from this site.
