Sunday, I took my kids to see the circus. I thought it would be a welcomed distraction. They were sad that their Daddy's deployed on Father's Day...last year he was away at school. Anyway, it was the GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH!! It's been years since I had seen Bello the Clown perform and new acts have been added. The kids were distracted enough to enjoy the day and not get mopey. I also had a good time. My son(7) said it was awesome and impressive...My daughter(4) just loved the elephants and the dogs. Me ...the lights, sounds , and looks on my kids' faces reminded me of my very first trip to the circus. It was great! What is something you were doing as a distraction that unexpectedly reminded you of the joys of being a kid?
