can you differentiate ASTRONOMY from ASTROLOGY?

Well sweets I don't know that much about either but I think that Astrology is about star signs you are born under and the affect they have on your life, while Astronomy is about the study of planets and how it works! xxx

it is not that difficult as it sound ASTRNOMY is a science that dels with the panets and other celestial bodys' nature,characteristics,their movements. ASTROLGY is also a science as it deal with lots of mathematical points of planents' influences on earth and their favourable or unfavourable impact on human body.

Astronomy is real and factual. Astrology is based on uncertainty. Astronomy is a science in which facts and observations can be proved. Astrology may work partly for some and not at all for others. It is completely fictional and could be invented by almost anyone.

Astronomy has to do with the planets and the solar system. Astrology has to do with the devil.

in my opinion, ASTRONNOMY is so strange for me, and the outer space is so huge, but i do not have the equipment to study the arcanum of the outer space!

You can get 3 to 4 science credits at a University for Astronomy :-)

ASTRONOMY Is the study of the stars or the skies Including planets, comets, asteroids, birth of new stars and so on. ASTROLOGY is supposed to use the position of the stars to tell one’s fortune or future. I do not believe in astrology. It is a big hoax that is pulled on people to get their money.

Astronomy for me is a scientific study of the heavens, heavenly body, stars & the universe. It aims to expand our horizons as far as space travel & knowledge is concerned based on facts and actual observations. It is scientific in nature and cost billions to undertake. he he he! Astrology on the other hand takes up heavenly bodies particularly the solar system and its effect on the traits, character and personality of people here in earth. It also deals with events and how it is related or affected by the heavenly bodies such as the star...and it costs a little and more of a hobby my some people. LOL!

I honestly don't know what the difference is.. All i know is that both has something to do with space science..
