sleeping inside the car.. is it safe?

sleeping inside a car without a.c is not a problem...............but near my house,there is a car garage in which the 2 mechanics of that garage slept inside the car by switching on the airconditioner..next day morning,they were found dead..on police investigation it was found tat toxic nitrous oxide was been emitted from tat cars old ac...tat seems the prob. due 2 lack of oxygen they died........so avoid sleeping in the car during night.
