I'm not from an English speaking country, and we studied E. at the high school as a foreign language.
Once we were studying Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet with our teacher and one of us students, not exactly a genius, had been called by the teacher and was standing up reading the part of the balcony scene aloud for everyone of us.
