Etiquettes on my lot

All you need to do is post topics that interest you and post to discussions of others that interest you. There are a list of rules from mylot you may want to look at. The most important thing is to be polite and you will be fine. Once you start you won't be able to stop*L* The people are great here and very helpful. I hope you enjoy your time at mylot!!

Please read 'FAQ' on mylot. Always be polite and nice while replying or commenting...even if you do not like the reply. Do not use offensive or nasty words. Use 'please' and 'thanks' a lot............. and if somebody points out any of your mistakes/errors....accept it gracefully. More you will learn....gradually. Best of Luck to you!

Do's 1. Do- At least reply to one discussion of someone you are inviting for a friend. Friends can be great tools to increase your posts, they respond to you and you respond to them. However to get really good loyal friends, you may want to show good faith by posting to their discussions first, then send an invite. 2. Do- Create your own topics. Think of interesting and unique topics and you are sure to draw in the traffic. 3. Do- Rate a best response. Members like other's that give this, and again it will increase members replying to you. 4. Do - Post as often as you like and try to add as much as you can. Not saying you need to write a book, but at least 3 or more sentences. 5. Do report those that break Mylot rules, this helps keep the trolls down in here. DON'T! 1. Don't solicit friends with no intentions of replying to their posts. You will lose the good friends that are loyal to you. 2. Don't copy posts. These will get deleted and you will give yourself a bad rep. 3. Don't post goofy one sentence replies. If they are not deleted, they surely will be frowned up by the rest of us. 4. If you have nothing nice to say, then say it in at least a humorous way. Readers at least like to be entertained during a peeing match, LOL. That's all I have for now. I think sunshinecup covered everything with their comprehensive reply. Certainly deserved 'best response'. Thank you for asking to be my friend. I will try to be a good friend as it is always nice to meet new people on MyLot. Good luck and remember to have fun as it will not make you rich overnight.
