I'd watch Titanic over several times because the fact that there is so much going on in that movie that watching it again brings new perspective

That was an interesting movie no doubt. And Pacino always lights up the screen. I had a problem with the dark feel of the movie though underlying the humor and sophistication of the directing. The character wanting to kill himself kind of brought me down at those points. But that is what makes a movie a clasic.

I have to agree that as a trilogy the Matrix ranks up there as one of the best in multiple movie eye candy along with Lord of the Ring

Speed was a good movie no doubt. Speed 2 was not even close as well made or good. Then again Keanu Reeves is a pretty fair actor and most of what he plays in is well done and turns up hitting box offices with a good amount of tickets sold.

I rated that as my second best but only by a smidgen. Independence Day was deep, but Titanic was deeper on another level.

I would say "forest gump"
its a fabulous movie, shows the gud and bad parts of life and even though the chracter had its shortcoming it shows that eventually gud comes to all gud people and that god takes care of the innocent and protects them....
and Tom Hanks excels as an actor

I have to agree that Forest Gump was a great movie and is one of my top twenty. It was an epic set in a 3 hour movie.

The first Godfather rest within my top ten movies. The second one is actually lower thanks to movies like Star Wars and Indiana Jones (Don't get me wrong I think Coppola is as a good a director as Lucas, but Lucas has had more to offer over the years.)

I thought it was quite heart wrenching, almost in line with Titanic.

I was never an Exorcist fan, and I've never seen Bend it like Beckham. I'll have to grab that one. Thanks for your opinion. So far everyone has put down mvies I myself like for the most part.

I agree. Honestly it came to me to ask everyone and, though it took a day for responses, I am glad I did. It's interesting to see how many people like a certain type of movie.

Hamburger Hill was intense. I remember wondering if that dipiction of the war was close or over dramatized. Either way it was a darn good movie.

I am die-hard David Lynch fan. In my opinion, the best movie ever made is Mulholland Drive by him. It was the best psychological thriller I have ever seen too. I love those movies that demand a lot from the viewers. And, they need to undergo some sort of transformation while they are in the process of watching the movie. I give full credit to this movie on all these accounts. The casting was wonderful and so was the music, the dialogues, individual performances...
