Internet --its good or bad for childrence.......?

I think it all depends on the use they make of internet. Internet is a world and there are good and bad things. But there's the need to make them see it and teach them responsabilty about it as for any other matter in their growing values.

I Think it can be a Great thing as long as you are watching them. If you do not watch them it can be a very bad thing because who knows what they will find online. But yes the Internet is Great thing for Kids to use.

It is good to use internet for children as long as they use properly under parents guidance. It is like fire. You can use it for cooking and fire can destroy you if not used properly.

Its about the way how you allow your kids to use the internet and what kind of checks and balance you have on the usage because now a days you are simple ended into some adult page by no intentions so i would prefer not to let them use alone or without proper control.

If you have children you need to know what they are doing at all times that means on or off the internet. I do not believe that children should be aloud to have a computer in their room, the computer needs to in an area that is well supervised.

INternet is good but lack of parental control isn't. If your kid is going to navigate the net, even if don't know a thing about computer, at least be there and make sure they don't get lost and stumble in some adult site or be sweet talked by online predators.

Anything one does in limit, is not harmful. Similarly a limited time given to children to work on internet with educational sites (not to allow adult sites, games etc.) is of great help to children to enrich their knowledge.

Internet is definitely very useful for children. But I feel, if the children are younger...and cannot distinguish between 'right' and 'wrong', they they should use internet under the guidance and supervision of their partents.

children using Internet is alright with the company of parents. Because they may wonder to the "site" that they should not be going to.

in some point internet is good to children.

I can say that the internet is like a 2-bladed sword. It is really helpful for children in learning many different things, but at the same time, they can be exposed to private concerns like violence, adult contents, etc. I think what the parents need to do is guide their children in using the internet and teach them how to utilize it properly.

Todays world is connected with net only.from business to food,everything under one roof.Yes as per my view internet helps children a lot as a teacher or guide.

Internet has both good and bad aspects. Information about almost all the things are there in the internet. It helps to improve the knowledge of the children. There are also game sites, which makes the children to waste their time by simply sitting in front of the computer.

the children should be guided by their parents about their needs in the childhood...

it is good if its for research work but bad if they explore the mature sites...
