My lot is a Woman's world :)

There do seem to be a lot more women than men who are most active on mylot, I wonder if it's because there are so many female subjects being discussed men are put off. I do have some men on my friends list who post a lot of discussions of good quality and I try to support them. The men of mylot just have to be braver and post more discussions to even things out a bit.

Oh you are good. Trying to sweet talk all the ladies...lol. Well it works :) I have noticed that there tends to be more females than males on Mylot. I love being able to have discussions with both as well as all the different cultures as well. I must say that many of the males I have dealt with here on Mylot are also very intelligent and a pleasure to discuss with.

I think there are more lady members in mylot.They get more time to spare on net and they post good discussions and they get good response and earn more from mylot.

I am surprised you managed to do a statistics of the man woman ratio in mylot. And most of the best responses go to woman? I am amused. I do agree that woman are more open and more expressive. That has always been the case since history, isn't it? In my opinion, man too are capable of doing good responses. Perhaps most men find it a waste of time to participate in such a discussion. They would rather do "big" projects and make more money. Merely speaking my mind only :)

Yes thats also what i observe here. Only few men are here and we are happy to all men come here in mylot. Hope there are some coming. WElcome all guys to MYLOT.

I do not agree with you,I think there are also lots of men here,maybe half of members are men.hehe......why do you have this feeling,around me,there are all men surffing on mylot and no women on it,just as I far as I am concerned. but maybe women are popular here,they can start attractive discussions and get more responses.they are more active than men.in my opinion.lol......

Maybe there's more housewives than stay at home dads, that's why you see more women around here spending more time in mylot??? I notice that too. I guess more men would rather discuss about sports, women, sports, online games and sports. And these interests don't get so much responses. I try to get my husband get into mylot, but he's not much into it as I am. He said the discussions in the top discussions are so unlikely to be there.

Now why would u say that women are very sweet????i would rather prefer the word talkative.they cannot stop chatting even for a second.that is their nature.we men r much more of the reserved type.but in some cases our system fails to work.only talkative women are on top here.so ladies dont stop chatting.........keep messaging.all this is jus4fun now ladies don mark my words serious.i jus like doin mock fighting with ladies.but im not that serious abt the words that i choose to say.so once again don mistake me...

I am always surpriced when I see men on myLot for some reason. I am also a member of Gather and there are also lots of men over there. I am surprised but I love it. It is always good to have a balance of opinions! I can't speak for all women but for me a mans opinion keep my feet on the ground as I do tend to get caught up with things as in emotional at times. But then again my emotional reaction to something is sometimes good so I think as I said men and women need each other for the balance!

I haven't realized that in Mylot women are more than men:) Scientists found that women are good at talking, so perhaps they are good at debate, too. And women are very patient. Therefore, they can create good quality discussions and won't give up easily.

Well yes, I have noticed that too. i think its a good open forum to get some great opinions from the ladies themselves. Its very difficult for me to know what a girl is thinking or what might be going through her head sometimes when she is quiet and maybe at MyLot I can ask someone that and I might get an idea. Its a great place though, I have to agree!

Maybe men in MyLot is not outnumbered at all. Maybe they pick discussions, only discussions they want to answer which less women is there. But we dont really know unless someone take a survey :)

What a good observation! Your observation, if actually true, has partly given the reason behind my own observation that women get more responses on myLot. I had earlier concluded in my mind that the attempts by the male members to 'curry the favour' of or 'get closer' to the female members were largely responsible for the more massive responses to the latter's posts. Now, I have another reason for my own observation: there seems to be an 'esprit de corp' among the female members, who are also in the majority. Couple this with my initial supposition, and you have the main reasons for the mountainous responses that female posters get. I agree with you that the female posters are brilliant and intelligent. Most males are as well.

Yea I just notice that a moment ago. It sure does seem like mylot is filled with more female members than males. Probably its because of the nature of this site. I guess women/girls just have more unique and interesting topics to talk about. Most of the question that are asked in this site are random everything things that everyone can relate to. I guess women/girls are just more random...(j/k ladies!).

Hmm indeed I have realized this too, especially in this topic! So many women, but I like talking with women it helps me know more about the way they think and what they like. I live with 3 women (only men are me and my Dad) so I know a lot about them but it is still nice. Most forums I visit have a lot of one gender depending on the topic. Nice discussion you just went up a few ranks in the women's chart. :-D Rated +.

I have noticed this as well. I kinda notice this on alot of other websites too. Women just seem to have an easier time to open up and create some rather intriguing conversations while also having the ability to give some nice and detailed respones as well. I think it may be because,as you said, it gives women a chance to speak their mind without a man trying to come in and tell her to stop or even try to hide her voice. I support anything that gives women a chance to speak up and voice their opinion.
