Are you a country mouse or city mouse? Do you like where you live?

country mouse - country or city mouse?
United States

I am a country mouse. I like being out of the hustle and bustle of the city. I love living in the country it is so peaceful and quiet. I prefer it over the city any day. To me the city is a nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there. Oh I am sure the city has it's advantages but i just prefer the country. So what are you a country or city person? If giving the chance would you change where you live? Are you where you are by choice or did circumstances bring you to your place of residence?

I actually love both I was raised in the country and now live in the city but you would no it. We are in a great place here and it look country and is city. The best of both worlds. I have rolling fields around us and a view to the city.

I learn to adapt, where ever I lay my hat. In the country the air is much cleaner and I can appreciate that, but I am however very busy with many projects and do all of this in the city. I can get something to eat, or go to the movies with my fiance or chat with people in my network, etc. Both the city and the country has it's advantages and disadvantages. Godwilling and I live a long life, I guess I would prefer to live in the country area, but not too far from the city. Have a great day!

Kitchen Window - This is the daily view from my kitchen window.
I have always been a city mouse that yearned for the country. I recently got my wish and just moved to the country and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT! No smog, pollution, sirens, traffic, noise, etc. The privacy cannot be beat. I've added a photo of the scene from my kitchen window. I would never go back to the city without a fight!

I am also a country mouse. I live just outside of the our town, which isn't a big city. I enjoy not having neighbors too close. We lived in town when first married and didn't care for having people so close to my home. I love to go visit big cities also. The funny thing though, I am not one for camping and such. Friends of mine always call me a city girl because I would much rather go in a hotel rather than camping.

I am a city mouse, but I like the life in the countryside. It's very relaxing and I can breathe the fresh air. When I earn lots of money, then I will settle down my home by a beach. It'll be quiet and sunny and I can play in the beach all the time:)

I definitely like to live outside of the city. It is just to o crowded and congested for me. I definitely like to visit, but love to come back home. I don't think I could ever live in the city.

I'm a country mouse coz I prefered to live in a country or what we call here province. But unfortunately now I lived in the city since I got married I really missed my province. I don't have nothing but to accept the fact that I can lived in my provinced coz my work and my kids are now here to study and it is so hard to have money in the provinced because of less oppprtunity for me and my kids. If I have a choice and If I have enough money I really choose to be in the province.

Although I live in the country and love the country , I still don't like where we live . I would prefer to live in an area that was country but not far from a city and where everyone didn't know your buisness all the time . Too often people in the country know too much about each other and you don't get the privacy you deserve . When one doesn't have a story to tell they will imbellish more to make a story good or just simply make one up and I noticed that people in the city don't spend the time doing this as half the time they know nothing about there neighbor and stay out of each others way and one only associates with friends they truely know and not people they know by name or because of the area they live in .

My first house was in the city and unfortunately within 2 years of being in it had a nightmare neighbor making me suffer immensely expecting I had something worth trash acquiring and ruining my life was its work expecting to reap it. I sold that house, 2 tries but finally thank GOD and moved out of that city, that state and traveled several states away to live in the country, which had always been a lifelong dream. The neighbor emptied my life and destroyed the best parts of me doing it. But in the end I won with coming to the country and now living a peaceful, quiet life in a haven. Even as a child I always enjoyed camping, hiking, any time any way to be in the country away from the city. It's nice to finally live here even though it was circumstances that forced me here.

well country and city living fo me are all the same....its just how you appreciate the place where you live....and it depends on the work you have....in the countryside you can see farmers cultivating their acres of land, while in the city you can see industrialists and office workers....and also it depends on the lifestyle you are into......
