i go every 2 years since i was 14 yrs old. Usually after almost 2 years, you can feel your glasses not as comfortable as when just got them, plus...change the frame too with newest model.

you should go to an optician once a year just to check your eyes! if u wear contact lenses is better to visit your optician more often.

Every eye doctor I've ever been to has told me the same thing. We should come every six months. I didn't do that, and recently I discovered I had a serious eye condition. I could have found out sooner if I had abided by that guideline.

Normally I will have my eye test every two years. If I am not comfortable with my eyesight or contact lenses, I will make an appointment with my optician. Eyesight is important for everyone, so please start looking after your eyes.

I am an employee at an opticians and it depends entirely upon what the optician has advised you recall to be. Normally for adults (16+) it is a 24 month recall. For Children and people who suffer from diabeties it is a 12 month recall. However if the Optician believes that you have serious problems with your eyes and wants to keep an eye on it you can be on something as low as a 6 month recall. It is advisable to get frequent eye tests as eye exams don't just check the vision of your eye, they also check the overall health of your eye, for things such as brain tumours, and glaucoma etc

My optician wants to see me once a year (or sooner if there are problems).
