Do you enjoy your boss's vacation?

There is a saying "when the cat is away the mice will play"When your boss is on vacation do you take extra long lunch hours, do some shopping during office time, chat with your friends, do some Mylot work or use the time to catch up with your paperwork, do some filing, finish a report or start a new project?

yes, i loved it because no one tell you many things to do.no one looking at your back when you are working.

great topic even though I do not work anymore,
But when I was working no we still didn't do those things, the work had to go out, but it was relaxed, he wasn't around to yell at us or breathe down our backs, and we could talk in the office and that was nice.

Really! he yelled at you. No wonder you guys were more relaxed when he was not around. I bet you got a whole lot more work done.

Well, even when my boss is here I am no myLot pretty regularly during work. My job probably entails about an hour's worth of work a day and the rest of my time is online doing various things and waiting for customer service calls. But when the bosses aren't here, it get so much more relaxed around the office. Everyone seems to be in a more relaxed state. It works out for us because our bosses don't work on Fridays so every Friday is like an early start to the weekend. We don't leave early or anything, but Fridays are a very slow workday for us.

Well you are lucky you can be online while waiting for customer calls. I think though everyone is more relaxed when the boss is away.

it is an interesting saying. and when boss is at vacation all his office is relaxed and u can say u also enjoy his vacations.

I love it when my boss is gone. Usually everyone is much clamer and it creates a much more enjoyable work environment.
