i had all my children without an epideral, i truly encourage every woman to do this if possible..i know it is truly the hardest thing a woman can do but it is also the most rewarding thing after the birth of your child.. i think it is also more healthy, for the baby to not have all those drugs in their little bodies. Let say they were conceived natuarlly they should come out naturally also in my opinion. An epideral hurts more to get if your past the 5 centimetres dialated anyway. Plus it keeps you down afterwards for a while and it is hard to move i heard..it can aslo cause alot of complications my cousin had an epiderial and then she had severe back problems for many years after..
