I can't really say.. since i'm way over the age limit but haven't taken my driver's license yet.. but one thing i can say is that.. i just hope they make it harder to pass and obtain a license.. to ensure that people really DO understand the road rules and know their responsibilities as a driver. :)

i think it should be judged according to the height the person has.....right???
age doesnt really matter...

well i really thnk the age for driving shud be kept 18 yrs only. driving is a risky thng and a person shud be matured enough to understnd tht. after 18 usually a sense of maturity comes whch i thnk is right for driving. after all its the question of our as well as other ppl's life.

Well i too agree that. People mature differently and that it shud be lowered .....to maybe 15 or something . But the driving test shud be very strict ...and difficult ...this way only the mature and responsible..ppl will end up with the license.

what if the person is mature and too short to reach the clutch......so i really dont justify the age of 15......18 was stil better...heh

her in our country at the age of 18 you canget a student license so that you will not capture by the police because you dont have a driver license. It is good that at early age you know how to drive but be sure that their is a guide or your parents will guide you on how to drive so that you will not accedent or the police will arrest you because you dont have a license.

I don't think it should be raised. My daughter turns 15 next week and she could have had a school permit to drive to school a year ago. As her parent I thought that was too young so did not allow. She did get her learners permit this summer. I was amazed at what she had to know before getting it but found that my state was behind the times and others had already started giving the drivers test to those getting their learners. I think they are much more prepared to drive now then I was when I started driving. Drivers Ed courses are much more detailed now then when I was younger. I really do not see any need in raising the age to drive.

I think the driving age is fine the way it is. It's up to the person/kid to be responsible. I know many people in their twenties who do not take responsibility in their driving. I just think it depends on you. If your parent dosen't think that you're responsible enough, then they are probably right.
