Do you read the ads?

This is just a general enquiry, I'm trying to do some research. I want to know how many people actually read the ads on the paid to click websites, as oppose to just leaving them open and doing other things while you wait for the 30 seconds to be up. The reason why I ask is because I want to see how my own ad will fair when I put it on those websites.
