How Important is Religious Affiliation Furing Voting?

How mush interest do you have in finding out the religious affiliation of a candidate? Are there certain ones that you will not vote for becasue of this?

I'm actually very curious about this myself, especially in this election. Personally I am LDS (Mormon), and not really thinking of voting for Mitt Romney (On the R side I like McCain better and on the D's I like Obama), but I have been hearing a lot of people who simply will not consider Romney because he is LDS.
Makes me glad I have no aspirations of being President, since my conscience would be in the way according to some of the MSN polls.
