how to get paint stains out of clothes.????

How do you get emultion paint out of clothes have tried just sticking it into washer ( didnt work) also tried putting washing up liquid on it and leaving it but that didnt work either please can someone help, nearly half my clothes are ruined from someone not putting the lid on properly!!!!!! Has anyone got any ideas that dont cost thru the roof.!?!?

I would try one of those new stain fighting pens before you throw it in the wash, they seem to work very well.

I used this stuff called Goof Off to get rid of paint stains all over my house. My little brother decided to paint some sticks while my parents were out and left paint all over the place. The Goof Off removed paint from the stove, fridge, freezer, and walls. I dont know if this stuff will work for clothes but I guess it could be worth a try. Its really strong stuff though so you should be really careful. It might wreck your clothes but its worth a try if your clothes are already wrecked. Good luck!
