I have cleaned my keyboard a million times, and I think the problem is just me. I misspell approxomatly 5 words out of 5 paragraphs? Don't know if I just don't hit the buttons hard enough, or if I actually don't hit them. Most of the mistakes are words that I am sure I know the spelling of though?
I also wonder if it is anxiety. I get to typing about a certain topic, that really gets me going, and start typing to fast. My hands graze extra buttons or miss some in the middle.
I've just learned to proofread all of my work!

Yes i know what you mean! My computer not only misspells but it often forgets to add the next Line. I've tried oiling it and nothing seems to help. Once it couldn't remember how to spell "agressive," and I actually had to get out my olde Dictionary. I hate this, but whats a Man to do?
So have you figured out how to fix it? Let me no when u do, please!

I have the habit of reversing my letters, but even when I spell the word correctly, my Word program decides I have the syntax wrong. There was one sentence that was fine as it were, except the grammar checker could not understand it, so I had to have my character ask the question a certain way. Another thing about grammar checker in Word, you would think it would have an exception for conversations where people say, "Right" or finish off the other's sentence, or just grunt, but no. According to Word, you have to talk in complete sentences.

Yes, I sometimes have the problem with my keys stick or the letter not showing up maybe mylot should add a spell check but so we can check before we post. I usually check and fix before I post I am a stickler for accuracy.

That's why spell-checker is my best friend. Without spell-checker by my side, I'm doomed.

I really don't understand how the computer itself can misspell things...
If your keyboard is the problem, get a new one. They're far cheaper to replace than to repair (even on a laptop), and there's nothing more annoying than one that doesn't work quite right.
If your spell-checker is not working properly, re-install your word processor (such as MS Word or Open Office). If that still doesn't make it work, switch to a new one.
If you simply don't have one (such as typing here, on the internet) get a program that does have a spell-checker (such as firefox2).
Also, anytime your computer does things that are very strange and/or inexplicable, you should do a complete anti-virus and anti-malware scan.
