As you may know A spanish woman died a couple of days ago in a Los Angeles Hospital. What makes this so horrific is that when she was in the Emergency Room no one would help her. They let the woman lie on the floor and die...She had been throwing up blood for a few hours and the husband called 911 in the hospital to let them know that no was helping her. The hospital staff had the nerve to call maintance done and have them clean up around her..What kind of nonsense is that. Not to mention that on that same day a few hours later the husand was arrested for a warrant...What are your thoughts

This sh-it makes me want to get out my trusty Louisville Slugger and beat somebody's brains in! She was a HUMAN BEING, for Christ's sake! I was a 10-year-old Girl Scout when I took my very first Red Cross Junior First Aid course, during which we learned that vomiting blood is a life threatening emergency from which one can die in minutes without treatment. W.T. ever-lasting, cold-hearted, totally unfeeling, F.?
There is no penalty under law or professional codes of discipline harsh enough for these animals who stood by and let her die. If it were up to me, I'd bury them in dirt up to their chins, douse 'em with honey, and make their families sit there and watch while fireants ate them alive. Good thing the Constitution prohibits such things, but that's what they deserve.
So, this kinda pissed me off, can you tell?

I feel on that one...I totally agree with u...It seems no matter who u are if u go into a er room u should be treated especially in this case..I myself have been to the er several times and am bothered by the fact that when u go u end up sitting there for hours at end no matter how much pain u are in..that's why alot of people don't go to the hospital as is....

This is horrible that anyone who was in a posistion to help would just stand by and watch anyone die . I believe I would be looking in to sue the hospital . I don't believe in suing for no reason but in this case she was in a hospital looking for help and they could take the time to make a call for maintenace but not look at this woman to see what they could do to make her more comfortable . We go to a hospiatl for help and don't expect that they are going to stand around watching one die . I don't understand why they would have had an arrest warrant for the husband though ,there must be more to the story then just the hospital not helping .

This is a sad situation here.If this woman was throwing up blood why in da world didnt they rush her in the back? That is wild.Normally the most serious injuries they go ahead and take in the back.I know one thing her family is about to get PAID.

OMG this is just messed up all the way around!
That is horrible they didnt help the lady, just cleaned up around her and let her lay there?! wow, unbelievable.
and then to arrest the husband after having to go through losing his wife.
I wonder what they actually plan on doing in this situation?
I wonder if the husband plans on suing or anything.. it cant bring her back but maybe it can send a message to the hospital and police department that they have to change some things.
I think the hospital should be in some major trouble here.

From watching cnn it is being investigated by the government. On cnn they mention that she had been to that same hospitol 3 times prior and they just gave her medication and sent her home...They also mention that if she would have been seen by the doctor she would have lived...I hope the husband sues them.....Oh and on cnn they played the 911 tapes for the incident and also they read the report that they nurse gave...the report was upsetting because the nurse clearing told her that they didn't want to help her....and brushed her away...

Oh, is that happening in your place too? Wow, maybe the woman is poor and no one is looking after her.
Here, even if you are in a 50-50 situation, the doctors will attend to you but they will instruct your relatives to go down and fill up something to make sure that you can really pay.
I thought they' save life first before the money.
So sad to hear that!

The woman was an executive at a company and her husband was with her.. She had been to that same hospital 3 times prior and each time they gave her a pain pill and sent her away..But regardless of her financial situation she should have been seen by a doctor...even if they didn't have insurance the hospital will bill u....On the report from cnn they said if she would have been seen she would have lived...
