Wow it was so today that it wore me right out. I had to lay down and take a little nap. You cant even breathe out there. I helped my husband loading the van up and I couldnt go on. But now I feel alot better after laying down for awhile. It feels like its around 100 degres out there. Does the heat effect you like that?

I just checked our temps and it is 90 degrees out there with a heat index of 109 degrees. I knew it was hot out there but now that I see actually numbers I think it makes it even worse.
I know what you mean about having problems breathing out there when it is this hot. Hubby has had problems all day. My son decided he just had to mow the lawn today, I keep making him come in for cool down breaks and making sure he is drinking a lot of water.
For me, when it gets this hot it wipes me out and I just want to take a nap but with little ones I can't.
Glad you are feeling better after laying down. Hope you can stay in where it is cool.

I take after my mother and don't do well in heat. As a child, I fainted while I was at the zoo with my class. Now days if I have an icy cold bottle of water with me, and a cool, wet, hanky with me, I'll probably be OK. When I was twenty, I lived in a very small fifth wheel that had no heat in winter and no air conditioning in summer. I was very proud of myself because the heat was atrocious and I lasted it out. What I couldn't put up with were those darn ants!

I have bronchial asthma so the heat and humidity are a terror on me. When it gets like it did last week in the high 90's and high humidity I have to be in the air conditioning somewhere. If not I last a few minutes before gasping to catch my breathe. Its nice here. Almost Autumn like. Mid 70's, low humidity and strong northerly weinds at about 10 mph. So good to have the wiondows opened with a natural "cool" breeze instaed of man made cool breezes.
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~~

I can't stand the heat either...although today it wasn't too bad here...not yet that humid...the thing I hate worse is going into an a/c store..and it's chilly in there...feels good when you first go in, and then you walk out of the store ...honestly feel like I'm going to keel over
