Ok, that's too general, let me give you a situation. Suppose you're in your pajamas and haven't had a shower yet, and your best friend who's in town calls and says we're going out to somewhere exciting and that they're picking you in ten minutes. Can you make it?
Well, my record time happens to be within 5 minutes. I just put on my clothes. I can do my make up in the car because my friends usually pick me up. And if I'm having a bad hair day I always have either a hat, a bandana, or a ponytail in my purse just in case.. Then I do something with that in the car. I used to have a pair of silver hoop earrings in my bag also always. And that goes with everything. So that's getting ready on the go, and getting out of the house in under 5 minutes. Pretty good, huh? And it doesn't look like I've gotten ready in the car, it looks like usual, ha ha..
Now this one is for everyone.. I know guys also do take their time in getting ready, even though that's an attribute usually only thought about for girls. I know guys take their own sweet time too.
So girls and guys, what's your record time in getting ready? And if you don't have a record time, how soon do you think you could make it in?

I used to have a problem waking up early to go to work, I was in a mood where I didn't WANT to go to work and I would wake up and already have had to leave 5 minutes ago...so I'd bolt and leave and get to work on time. So I'd say 5 minutes. My hair styles better when it's dirty, it used to be real short and the "Slept in look" was my style so it worked. Grabbed some clothes, I wear jeans and t-shirts a lot... put on some eyeliner and mascara (crucial) and brushed my teeth... i was out.

I cant get myself ready within 5 minutes as you have done. The fastest time I have gotten ready is within 15 minutes, few years back when I overslept without remembering that I had to attend a very important function of my friend. I got ready within 15 minutes to go to my friends place.

It doesn't take me long.
If I'm fine it takes 2-3 minutes. (counting washing, getting dressed putting things ready) less if some of those didn't need doing.
Kudos,

Oh no, this is one situation that I detested. But it did happened to me many times. I have an old relative who really loves to give me a surprised visit and will practically dragged me out of my bed.
I need to wash my face and brush my teeth and dressed up quickly within 5 minutes like you. But seriously, I would prefer to have a bath first before stepping out of the house.

I have actually woken up and been showered and dressed in under 5 mins before. Granted I was also in the military so I have an unfair advantage to most. I have literally taken 90 second showers before. Basicly you're in soap up and rinse off and you're done. If I shower the night before I can be dressed in about a min. When I was in the military my barracks use to be right across the street from my shop. I had to be at work every morning at 6:45, my alarm didn't go off till 6:40 and I was never late for work.

Truly speaking, ten minutes are more than enough for me. I can take a shower in 5 mins and 5 mins are quite good for me to get ready. Infact, I get ready very soon and sometimes it becomes problematic for me because I am ready before time and my friends always late. so, I have to wait and wait for them. So, getting ready early becomes a negative point.

well usually when not in a hurry half an hour is enough for me , and as i m hurrying 5 mins are sufficient ^^
Or i just tell my friends to wait and they get all ... come out now heh

i think about 15-20min but i've never been really latefor anything so i couldn't give you an estimate including the stress factor. It would also depend on if i decide to eat or how long my hair is i suppose. I guess about 20min

Oh I am sorry. That person needs to first make an appointment with my secretary.
I can get ready as quick as I want but I don't generally accept such last minute appointments. ;-)

In my case, I do find it very hard as I usually take so much time for myself. But if ever that happens, then yeah I don't have no choice but just to do my very best to catch the time...I know i'll be looking terrible then, but who cares anyway for as long as I get to go out somewhere with my friend, at least that's what matters most. :-)

Well, yeah, at least you're not being a party pooper. But you can actually get dressed the same way as you do when you take a lot of time, it's just that maybe you need some practice at it.
The key is to have a simple yet good make up that's your style and an outfit always ready to wear, that way you don't waste time by trying out different stuff.

though I am a very slow guy and take my own to do things, I remember Once I need to catch up my train in that day I took only 10 minutes to take my bath change cloths and take my lunch also and all this things take only 10 minutes time, I was amazed by my speed in that day and told everyone I know about my achievement, in other days normally I take about 1hrs or even more to do all the things

I'd say 10 minutes...5 for a shower, 5 to get dressed. 15 minutes on a cold winter day...harder to get out of the shower!!
