PoshPoints Problems

Posh points is SO irritating right now! Not only is it for sale (so who wants to invest in points that might end up worth nothing) but people fluxuate and points aren't always worth the $1 they say they should be. For example, a baby bottle for 18 points. Would you pay eighteen bucks for a bottle? People have hundreds if not thousands of points and all they see on there is coupons and free samples that should be FREE. And paypal tracking isn't working right. It makes me so mad. I sent out six items, asking for a value with the thought that one point equals one dollar. Then, when I went to spend my points, it wasn't worth the shipping I paid. I finally found a thing or two and got a letter from the sellers saying sorry, I'm not sending it. So posh was an irritating experience for me.

I'm just looking at posh from a value perspective. You lose money. As for the seller, they eventually (after two weeks) refunded the points, but she was not punished and acted like it happened that way all the time. As for "for sale" check the forum and powersellersunite.com. That also debates the new requirements for VIP and customer service. An uncertain future would be enough for many to never invest or to jump the ship before it sinks.

Shipping money . . . I sold small things, but the regular changes in point value made it tricky to break even. Like I said, I traded as if $1 - 1 point. I added cost of shipping. Other people are making it $0.20 - 1 point, and even worse. That fluxuation is simply economics - eventally more people will drop the value of a point because people will pay the inflated prices to try to break even and so on and so forth. Now that there is no bonus to join, things are really fragile on Posh. I hope the new management (it was sold) can fix the site so it's stable. That would really improve things.

Nod. I'd hate to have invested more than I already did. I can't believe the owners would put it up for sale like that. In addition, the coupons are just irritating. I hate to see them in the main search.
