Whats your relationship with your Father

my dad is the best father for me.. i thank him for everything he done unto me.. he is a good inspiration that could be followed steps as a father. he is very responsible on us, he educate me very well.. support all my needs, as long as he could.. i love my dad, and im so proud of him..

I would say that I have a real good relationship with my dad. Have had that for a long time. Yeah there have been ups and downs but through thick and thin, it's really good and wouldn't change anything.

My father and i are not very close but i still have much love for him.

I ran away from home due to physical,mental, and verbal abuse by my father. Now things have taken a huge turn in the past 3 years. My dad is now living with my wife and I. I am his caregiver. He has DHD. Dengerative Heart Disease. he has had a few small strokes and a minor heart attack. Now he called me asking me to take him in and care for him. Even after the way I was raised I did this as I do love my dad. he rasised me the way he was raised. So I feel it wasnt his fault. How he raised me was learned behavior. Anyhow we now have a great relationship and talk a lot daily. I love my dad dearly. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

My relationship with my dad has always been a bit rocky. My parents split up when I was two, and I didnt see my dad again until I was about 8. He seems like a nice enough guy and all, but we can never really be close due to his new wife. He lives about two hours away from me, and I would gladly visit him more often if it was not for his wife. Everytime I am down there she talks bad about my mom, and other members of my family. She is seriously one of the most ignorant people I know. I think that talking bad about someones family right in front of them is one of the dumbest things a person can do. Anyways I would like to have a better relationship with my dad, but I dont see it happening in the future. Maybe after a few years we will be able to finally work something out.
