Wisdom to be honest and have tolerance with others and the world. I hope my son would have the ambition to change wrong and the kindness to love.

I would have to say I would bestow tolerance. I want my children to be tolerant of others around them and be open minded.

Physical and emotional security all his/her life. Those other things you mentioned are important too, but security is by far the one I would wish for any newborn.
