How MAny words does a 3-year old child speak????

variety of researches shows specific range of how many words does a normal 3 year old child... i have the answer...... could you guess me the range of number.. plz.. tanx

I think 20 for basic words only. Of course words we usually say to her while feeding, while playing maybe before sleeping. But I am not so sure.

not only basic words but also some inappropriate words, a child normally speak between 200-300 words per day....

i have 3 years old baby boy, and i think he speak a lot of words, and he can speak now, call me "pa-pa come here, please take a milk i want drink" or "lets go out with motorcycle" and so on, my baby boy can speak now. at august 8 2007 my baby boy 3rd birthday.
