I know we do, and we devote our saturdays and sometimes sundays to our childrens sport... I find it quiet exciting to watch our children play the games we use to play, and I also find it very hard to contain myself from yelling and giving directions of the play from the side line lol, but I do hold back and let my children do there best, and give them advise when we get home... Neither of my children are in any sports at the moment....My daughter however was into wrestling for one season and she went every Tues and Thursday night for that..usually it was my husband that went with her...Both my kids have voiced recently that they would like to get into Martial Arts and dance so if they do we'll dedicate whatever time is needed for that...

At first I didn't watch my children because their first sport was gymnastics. We weren't supposed to stay and watch the class, but on rating day we were permitted to watch and it was pretty boring.
Then my older daughter quit that for Taekwondo. I didn't watch the classes. I thought that would be boring.
Three years ago my youngest started indoor soccer on Sundays. If the games were a little too early and my husband was home, he would go and I would stay home. But then I heard she scored a goal I started watching the games and it became exciting to watch. They both play indoor soccer now and I wouldn't miss a game. My youngest won the championship her first and third seasons, and my eldest won her first and second seasons.
Now they are both doing outdoor soccer for the first time. These games take place on weeknights, a different night each week. My youngest plays tomorrow (Wednesday) this week and my oldest on Thursday. I love watching... but not because it was something I did as a kid, but because it's something I DIDN'T do as a kid. My kids have more athleticism, talent and ambition than I ever had and I am very proud of them.

I love watching my children play sports at first its just really cute but as they get older it just gets so excited. It is very rare through out the year that me and my husband don't have some kind of sport to go to for the kids. It has become second nature.
